I can’t believe that it has been a year since I wrote a post like this.
Time flies so fast that it’s hard to keep up with what’s happening around me and with me.
It seems like all that I’ve done in 2016 was happening is some other life and with some other girl. I can’t believe it was exactly 1 year ago when I took my sister for her first trip to Asia.
My 2016 was much brighter than 2015. I have tried few new things, worked on quite a few projects, visited few new places and I’m quite happy with the results.
I spent New Year’s eve watching fireworks and drinking wine sitting on the white sand beach of Pangkor island, Malaysia.
I started going to Kizomba dance classes, K-I-Z-O-M-B-A, not Zumba or Zomba, and met my future boyfriend 😀
I brought my sister to Malaysia to travel for 3 weeks. My sister got on the flight for the first time in her life, going alone to the far Asian country. We had a lot of fun together and I realized how pleasant travel companion she is 😉
I created a challenge for myself to complete 12 things in each of the categories during a year that I miserably failed managing to completed 12 things in only 2 categories.
My first Acupuncture course ever! It was awesome! Very powerful! I really recommend trying it if you dare 🙂
My second 10 days silent meditation retreat Vipassana. I got sick on the second day so my experience was not as expected.
Vipassana for me is somehow a catharsis experience when from pain and suffering you reborn into the new human being.
3 lessons I’ve learned from attending my second retreat:
– I won’t die even if I don’t eat anything after 12 pm. For 10 days.
Sometimes I thought my high stomach acidity will kill me, though.
– It’s not fun to be sick during the meditation course like this. Not fun at all. Don’t do that. Learn from my mistakes.
– Have no expectations. This time it was all about equanimity. Not about sensations at all.
My first ever 10 days solo trip to Vietnam. I met my friend Viet, learned how Vietnamese people live and visited few beautiful places.
Now I know what is Ramadhan. Very long month.
Attended my first-ever dance festival ALIA in Langkawi and I performed a Kizomba dance together with my team.
I spent 5 busy weeks in Ukraine. After 1,5 years in Malaysia! And I finally visited Kamyanets-Podilsky.
Lived in a hotel room for 1,5 month. Don’t ask me why! One thing good about this experience is that it showed me how powerful manifestation is and what are synchronicities.
My first video for The Webo Style Dance Project got 25 k views in the first 3 months.
I spent the New Year’s eve in KL preparing for the great beginning on 2017, preparing for the trip to New Your City!
In 2016 I dramatically changed my haircut, got certified in inbound marketing, became a product owner of the subscription program Soulvana and co-created my first online courses with the American authors!
I have so many plans for 2017 that my head is spinning. Honestly, if everything will turn out how it is planned, 2017 will be an EPIC year!
For now, let’s start with the modest trip to the NYC and we’ll take it from there.
Intentions for 2017:
travel, feel, love, laugh, create, produce, build, internalize, solidify.
